It's a Party!

It's an I-don't-feel-pregnant-at-all-just-super-crampy-and-scared-it-failed-again party! The minutes will pass like hours while you are entertained by the not-so-lovely but very talented Doubts & Fears! No need to RSVP because this party will come to you! We will stop by during the early morning hours and awaken you with period-like cramps so intense you will run to the nearest restroom to check and then, once you're wide awake, the party will begin in earnest! Of course your trip will result in nothing but by then you will have realized that you have the same radiating right leg pains that once accompanied your period cramps. Don't worry, these cramps have come to party and won't be leaving anytime soon! When things get too rowdy, you might be tempted to call your old friend 800mg Ibuprofen to vanquish us but, remember, he's terrible around babies so I would think twice about that. You know, until you know for sure...and you won't know for sure for about another week or so sit back and enjoy the party!

Stop!! You were crampy with Sarah where only 2 embryos were implanted. You were not crampy with your failed IVF, so this is a good thing. You're not having a party, the babies are!! They are all fighting for a spot in your uterus!! It's sibling rivalry in the womb :-) plus you had TWO implantations back to back! Everything is going to be great! I love you so much, and know that everyone is covering you in prayer!! So take a deep breath and know that they are fighting because they all know what an awesome mommy you are! XOXO

For what it's worth, I felt the same exact way with Evan and Rowan. And I was downright disgruntled about the whole darn thing. After hearing me whine and b-word for a day or two, Scott MADE me POAS. What do ya know...?

Anyway, TRY not to lose hope.

Oh dear, I hope the cramps lessen a bit (unless they're a good sign, in which case torture away). Hoping you're finding some good distractions from the endless wait today.

I agree - your hormone levels have to be just crazy right now, so it's got to be normal to be cramping, etc.! You are in so many of our prayers, sweetie - I know that this has to be so, so hard.
